Cry Me a River

You know you're hormonal when you cry at:
  • Officer's Installation at church
  • History Detectives on PBS (incidentally one of my favorite shows)
  • Shamu Show at Sea World (that was when I was pregnant with Will, but Dan still teases about it)
  • Baskin Robbins - when they're out of Peanut Butter Chocolate ice cream (SACRILEGE!)
  • Publix commercials

Giggle, giggle, giggle

Will still doesn't have any real words that he's decided to share with us yet. However, there are a couple of things that he likes to babble and we caught both of them on this clip.

Lucky Me

Dan is just a fantastic man.
A wonderful husband.
An amazing dad.
Lucky Me :)

Great-Grandma (aka GG)

We were so happy to see GG for a short time while mom was visiting. My grandmother is a remarkable woman. I'm so very grateful for all her prayers and love over the years. It was such a joy to see her...

despite Will's reaction in the following picture...
We also got to see my aunt Bo & uncle Greg, who gave Worthy some fat lips...

Tea Time with G

A couple weeks ago, my mom came down from Ohio to visit us. It was such a treat to have her here. One afternoon, her and Worthy (Will got in on it too) had a Tea Party. The fare consisted of animal crackers and Reese's Cups. Needless to say, I think Worthy preferred that to cucumber sandwiches.
Mom was trying to teach him to drink tea with his pinky finger sticking out. We tried to discourage that part of the lesson. Wow - this family really, really needs some grand-daughters.
Will is always excited about anything that has the word "party" in it

Baby Growing

We had another ultrasound today. It was a follow-up appointment from a month ago. To our great delight and amazement the area which produced some minor spotting has completely disappeared. Thank you God! It was great news! The baby is developing great and we had a wonderful time seeing little Beilman Baby. We still are uncertain whether it's a boy or girl yet and probably won't know for another 3 weeks or so. Here are some of the pics from today:
The Baby already looks like he/she may have Worthy's long legs :)

Florida Heat

We're SO thrilled that my mom is down here for a few days! It's been such a treat for us all! We've really enjoyed her playing with the kids, the cleaner house and the instantaneous (and free) babysitting - but most of all we've just enjoyed her company. We've been out in the heat, trying to stay cool...
Will loves to swim and Worthy loves to swipe Will's innertube

Will also really enjoys this "tub" we have, he usually doesn't sit in it, but guess he was feeling adventurous

Will having some more pool-time fun

Summer Bible Conference

Every year our church does a Summer Bible Conference. They bring in an outside speaker to preach every evening from Sunday-Wednesday. This year Glenn Hoburg came and shared some fabulous teaching. He's from Grace DC, a church up in DC, that we had attended a couple of times when we lived in Annapolis. Here's a link to the messages - enjoy.

The Destroyer

So, last night I was treated to a very special occasion... Dan cooking dinner! He made a great gnocchi recipe. I love him dearly, but his forte is not in multi-tasking and while he cooked us an AMAZING dinner Will decided to have a little bit of fun playing with napkins.
And yes, this is occuring in the kitchen (where the cooking is taking place).
We had a good laugh over it!

Bill O'Jean

Sheepshead was over rehearsing the other night and Will really enjoyed the dance party. Thought you might like to see Will's dance moves. And yes, that is an Irish Band doing an homage to Michael Jackson's Billy Jean. They'll be playing this Friday at Burke's from 8pm-11pm.

Our 4th of July

We got to celebrate the 4th of July at a party at our friends house. We enjoyed water games (including a huge inflatable water slide), great food and even better company. The boys had a blast playing outside with their friends and I enjoyed just getting to hang with mine. Thanks Loughridge's for the GREAT party!

Movies We'd Recommend

Here are some movies we've seen lately that we've really liked. I won't say anything more about their individual plots, because I hate when people ruin movies for me with subtle hints (or blatent ones... cough, cough... Chris Woofter...). So, here are some lesser known movies we liked:

The Visitor

Transsiberian - the new one with Woody Harrelson

The Lives of Others - German movie with subtitles
... And don't let the DvD cover jacket fool you, it's not raunchy... just marketers trying to sell. It's really worth the watch.
