Piano Recital 2015

William & Worthy had a piano recital in March. They both did a great job. This was William's first year taking lessons and Worthy's second or so (on & off). Their teacher has been a real joy to us and we're so thankful to have had such a wonderful year of more music in the house.

May Recap

What a busy and wonderful month it has been.  Too busy to blog regularly.  But here are some of the highlights.

CHEVERLY TRUCK TOUCH
This is an annual neighborhood event where they bring in a bunch of trucks and kids can sit in, climb on and beep horns. It was definitely a winner with our boys.

LOTS of BUG COLLECTING
Our boys have transitioned into being bug obsessed.  Spring was GREAT for bug gathering.

SIX FLAGS VISIT
The boys received a lot of generous cash gifts for Christmas presents.  We decided to use it towards season passes at Six Flags which is about 15 minutes from us.  The park was rather empty since school was in still in session.  The kids basically just walked onto the rides.  We were able to bring along a friend of the boys and my mom who was visiting came too.  We found out the hard way that Christian didn't like the Bigger Boy rides.  Lots of screaming.

They went around 9 times without getting off

BLUE ANGELS SHOW
We headed down to Annapolis to watch the Blue Angels.  As a parent, I find I often go to things because my kids will enjoy them and I'll enjoy watching my kids enjoy something, but not the actual event itself.  This did NOT fall into that category.  I had a blast and loved watching the show.  It's truly amazing what the aircrafts and pilots can do.

END OF SCHOOL YEAR
We completed our first year of Homeschooling & Co-op.  It has been Great!  There was many year-end celebrations.  One night included doing school projects on display.

It's such a treat to have them come and stay with us.  How blessed we are to have family near-ish.
