Our Lenny

Will just adores Calvin. He often reminds me of Lenny in Of Mice & Men. Anyday I expect him to love on Calvin and say "I will love him and pet him and call him George".

MLS Preseason

Dan & Worthy went down to Bradenton to see a preseason match between DC United & Toronto FC. Dan's dad came up to enjoy the game with them. Despite the chilly weather, they saw a great game that hardly anyone else knew to attend.

Last year they had went and got to meet a lot of players and get pictures with them. This year it was a bit too cold to linger.

Our Animals at the Zoo

Last weekend after church, we headed down to Tampa to visit Lawry Park Zoo. Every once in a while they'll do a $5 day and finally one came where the weather was good and no one was sick. Back in May, Worthy told us he wanted to go to Africa so he could see some elephants. Well this was his consolation prize.

We also got to see some Zebras - they weren't just sleeping either

Worthy cloned?

We're still a bit amazed at how similar Worthy and Calvin look. Above is Calvin and below is a picture of Worthy at about the same age...

Busy boys

Calvin is a little over a month old now and he continues to make us think that Worthy has just cloned himself. He's a precious little baby and we're enjoying (most) every minute of this little bundle.

Worthy has started violin lessons. He's really enjoying learning. During his practice sessions, I remind myself repeatedly that Joshua Bell's mom felt that way once too.
